  • That it is an absolute joy to be part of a focused and functional team where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.  

  • It is completely disempowering to be part of a toxic team where infighting is rife, people leave 

  • That it’s the leader’s role to drive change towards the culture they want to be part of, as well as each person in the team also being involved. 

  • Building a team’s culture is like building a bridge: without a strong foundation and sound engineering, it may fail.
