A practical catalyst creates clarity. 

This is the leader who is a catalyst for change in the team. 

They take their team from confused (not sure what success is for the team, unclear about objectives and goals) to clear - where everyone understands their role, and what they need to do to achieve success.

There are three crucial elements for a practical catalyst - these are differentiate, delegate, and design.
