Delegation is NOT abdication.

The meaning of abdication is 'failure to fulfil a responsibility or duty'.

This is what a lot of leaders believe they are doing if they start delegating tasks and projects to team members. When we have a limiting belief like this it prevents us from tapping into our best thinking and stops our team from thriving.

When we delegate effectively we are fulfilling our responsibility to do our role effectively.
